Here is a simple am radio circuit using ta7642 ic which is similar to zn414 ic. It replaces the zn414z and the mk414 radio ic. For the ferrite rod coil i am using the same one as that shown in the 8 band crystal radio project. It uses ferrite aerial rod an0008 l1 and tuning capacitor cc9010.
